Nepal wins the ACC U/15 Asia Cup for the first time.

Nepali Umpire, Mr. Buddhi Bahadur Pradhan, becomes a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel for a review period of one year.

Nepal finishes third in the ICC World Cup Qualifying Series, Division 2 tournament held in Malaysia.

Nepal plays international 3-day matches for the first time under the ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament-3-Day Competition and ICC Intercontinental Cup.

Nepal beats South African in the preliminary round of ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup.

2003

Nepal wins ACC Youth Asia Cup held at Karachi and qualifies for the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh for 2004.

Nepal wins Emerging Nations Tournament held in Kathmandu during March 2003 beating Maldives in the Final. Tournament's Participants were Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives.

Mr. Raju Khadka registeres Nepal's first individual Century in Senior International Tournaments participate by Nepal.

Nepal hosts the Inter-Airlines Cricket Tournament among South Asian Countries for the first time. Participants were: Royal Nepal Airlines, Yeti Airlines, Indian Airlines, Air Sahara and Sri Lankan Airlines. Indian Airlines won the tournament.

ICC Awards Cricket Association of Nepal 'Best Cricket Promotional Program Award' in the Asian Region. ICC also awards Mr. Jai Kumar Nath Shah, President of Cricket Association of Nepal, 'Life-Time Service Award' in the Asian Region. Later, the ICC awards Mr. Jai Kumar Nath Shah ''ICC Global Life Time Service Award"

2002

Nepal becomes Plate Championship runners-up of U-19 World Cup held in New Zealand. Nepal defeats U-19 team of Test Playing Nation Pakistan, Bangladesh and U-19 team of World Cup 2003 Qualifier Canada, Scotland and Namibia.

Nepalese Team Coach Mr. Roy Dias (Sri Lankan) and U-19 World Cup Team Captain Binod Das honoured by Gorkha Daksin Bahu (Nepal Honour).

Nepal becomes runners-up of Fourth ACC Trophy held in Singapore

Nepal U-17 Team participates in ICC / ACC U-17 Asia Cup held at Bangladesh.

Nepal participates for the first time in ICC Trophy held at Canada.

Third Youth Asia Cup in Kathmandu, From 11th to 18th October. Nepal become first by defeating Malaysia, at the finals.
